Hobson Sherrill

Hobson is a NC native who began his career in real estate as an investor. After seeing success on his first deal and having a great agent experience, he realized that his heart was in real estate. He spent time living in Spain for 2 years and is bilingual in Spanish/English. His time traveling has helped him bring a broad perspective to such a small and niche market of NC here in Asheville.

Hobson focuses primarily on residential properties, but also has personal experience in purchasing and managing investment properties in NC. He wants to help prospective buyers find the property that best fits them, and help beginning investors get their foot in the door. He earned a BA in Economics from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and has a career background in Accounting/Sales. He has applied this education experience to ensure each client is comfortable and knows everything they need before making a financial decision.

Hobson is a North Carolina native who moved to Asheville for his appreciation of the outdoors, good music, unique people, and great beer. He enjoys meeting new people at Asheville’s many trivia nights and running clubs. He is an avid UNC Tar Heel basketball fan, and would love to debate you over the Duke/UNC rivalry. In his free time, you will find him at Highland Brewery playing volleyball or see him enjoying live music at Asheville’s many venues.
