As a native, Western North Carolinian, I bring a deep love and firsthand understanding of North Carolina’s special mountain communities to every client relationship. My roots in the area run deep. I am the great-granddaughter in a fourth-generation baking family, “Whitman’s Bakery” in Waynesville, where I grew up surrounded by the values of hard work, Southern hospitality, tradition, and community connection. Those early experiences shaped the way I serve others today–with warmth, care, attention to detail, and genuine appreciation for our mountains, the Appalachian people, and the folks who choose to call the Blue Ridge home.

After graduating from Appalachian State University, I built a decade’s-long career in social and corporate events at Four Seasons Hotels, during my time in Southern California. There, I learned the importance of exceptional service in the luxury hospitality scene, and creating seamless experiences for discerning clients. That background continues to guide my approach to real estate, where every detail matters and every client deserves thoughtful, personalized attention.

My professional experience also includes working in high-end furnishings and design in Newport Beach, California, giving me a strong eye for interiors, lifestyle, and the potential of a home. I love helping buyers envision what a property can become and guiding sellers in presenting their homes with style, intention, and market appeal. Whether it’s recognizing the charm of historic architecture, the possibility in a mountain retreat, or the finishing touches that make a home feel truly special, I bring both creativity and practical insight to the process.

After years away, I returned to Asheville with my husband to raise our two daughters in the place I’ve always called home. Family remains at the heart of everything I do, and my daughters and I still love making time to bake together with my parents—a meaningful way to stay connected to the traditions I grew up with and to the generations before us.
