Leslie Manner

I am proud to be an Asheville native! After graduating from UNC Greensboro with a degree in Exercise/Sport Science and living in Florida briefly, I was lucky enough to move back home with my husband and 2 kids. I love having the hometown connection with my kids and showing them “places and things mom did” when I was little.

I love sports, most any and all. I believe important life lessons are learned by participating in sports. I was raised with a passion for UNC basketball. If you’re from NC, you get it. You either like Carolina blue…or that other blue that we don’t talk about.

In my spare time, you can find me outside in my yard discovering perennials appearing in my new yard with the help of my hound dog, Sunny. I’m no gardener but recently discovered I might have a hint of a green thumb. Or maybe just an obsession with weeds?
